Arthur Chen

Mr. Arthur Chen is managing director of Shoal Capital, a forward-thinking single-family office based in Hong Kong. He has 20 years of experience in AI, deeptech investments and industrial operations. On top of his family office mandate, he also serves as a board member or advisor for several emerging AI companies in the US, Europe and Asia, and also actively mentors aspiring entrepreneurs. Previously, he held senior positions at companies such as Fosun Group and Yingli Solar, and practiced law at Fried Frank LLP, a leading Wall Street law firm. Arthur is an alumnus of Peking University, Harvard Law School, IMD Lausanne, and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
