Raymond has more than 40 years of experience in the industry and has received various industry and leadership recognitions including the Asian Chinese Leader 2019, Capital Entrepreneur Award in 2013, Capital Leaders of Excellence Award in 2012, Outstanding Entrepreneurship at the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards Hong Kong in 2012 and Young Industrialist Award of Hong Kong in 2003. Raymond is the Chairman and Co-founder of the TSL Football Foundation alongside his twin brother, Jerry Tan. The foundation provides football training to both male and female elite players, marginalized children, as well as the elderly and people with special needs in Hong Kong. Over the years, their vision has expanded beyond borders, bringing the unifying power of football to the Philippines, Cambodia, and China. In the Philippines, Raymond serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Tuloy Foundation Inc., which provides extensive care for street children in Manila. Through the support of the TSL Football Foundation and Raymond’s leadership, Tuloy Foundation was able to establish Tuloy FC—a professional football club composed entirely of children from the foundation. Remarkably, Tuloy FC is among the very few clubs in the country with both men’s and women’s teams, giving opportunities for young people to dream, compete, and excel. In Cambodia, Raymond extended his mission of using football as a tool for transformation by forming XO United, a club that partners with AEFSIP Cambodia, a local NGO dedicated to supporting sexually abused girls.
